Customers, orders, and chemistry that is right to the last digit. In ChemCorp, you prepare real solutions at the lab bench: you weigh, dilute and titrate with the glassware and the gestures of a lab technician.
The game
Twelve orders
Customers place orders: from salt water for an aquarium to 5 litres of sulfuric acid prepared from concentrated acid.
Real data
Molar masses, densities, glassware tolerances, heat of dilution. As in a real lab, the exact concentration is never shown: you calculate it, then you measure it.
Real lab gestures
Balance, volumetric pipette and flask, burette and colour indicators, pH meter, fume hood: every gesture counts, just like at the bench.
A guide, then autonomy
Claire, the lab manager, guides your first orders. Every delivery ends with a report that explains each source of error.
The free lab
No guide and no imposed procedure: you organise your bench and fulfil contracts your own way.

Chemistry that doesn't cheat
Every number is real
Molar masses, densities, ISO glassware tolerances, enthalpies: all data come from the literature. The few simplifications are stated, never hidden.
You only see what you measure
The true concentration of a solution is never displayed. You know it by calculation, then you check it by analysis, as in a real lab.
Mistakes have causes
A failure is never down to chance: a forgotten hydrate, an overshot graduation mark, the wrong indicator. The report explains every deviation, with numbers.
One concept at a time
Each order introduces a single new idea and combines it with the previous ones. The mole comes gently, after g/L and percentages.
Who is it for?
For curious minds and budding chemists, from middle school to university. Claire's explanations adapt to the chosen level (middle school, high school or higher education): the chemistry stays the same, only the depth of the "why" changes.
For schools
ChemCorp practises the gestures and calculations of lab classes: preparing solutions, dilutions, titrations, pH. An edition designed for classrooms is in preparation. Are you a teacher who would like to try it with your students? Get in touch.
What's next?
The first tier, "Solutions and titrations", is playable. The next ones are in preparation: reactions in solution, organic chemistry, multi-step syntheses, up to the semi-industrial production of an antimalarial drug.
Availability
ChemCorp is in testing on iPhone, iPad and Android. The App Store and Google Play release is in preparation. The game is currently available in French only.
